Stand-Alone Modules                                     
 

Stand-alone Modules are short accredited courses offered by the Institute for Education across a variety of areas within the educational sphere. These courses offer innovative learning experiences and include assessment. They are the perfect opportunity to develop your knowledge and competences in self-sought areas. Moreover, each ECTS achieved is worth 25 hours of total learning in the Accelerated Progression Scheme.

Mode of Delivery

Stand-Alone Modules are delivered through online, blended or face-to-face approaches to teaching and learning. Assessment Methods 

Stand-Alone modules adopt a variety of formative, continuous and summative methods of assessment. These include assignments, online tasks, portfolios, reflective journals, projects and presentations. Certification

 

Upon successful completion of these courses, course participants will be conferred an accredited certification.

 

Further Learning Opportunities and Career Progression

 

Upon successful completion of this module, course participants may use certification conferred to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning for accredited programme. Teachers may also use this certification in their application for accelerated progression.
